Our Coding Seminar is held annually during our Annual Conference. The program is designed to assist Ophthalmologists and their office staff in documentation and reimbursement issues. The course text is state specific and is updated each year.


Annual Conference

The UOS is accredited by the Utah Medical Association to provide physician CME.  We offer 3-4 meetings annually, for an average of 17 hours of CME credit. The UOS Annual Meeting takes place in the Salt Lake City area, in late February or early March. Typically, over 80% of UOS members attend the annual meeting along with an average of over 250 ophthalmic staff. Our CE program for ophthalmic technicians offers JCAHPO credit. The conference takes place in Salt Lake City, Utah in either February or March.


UOS Member Dinners

UOS holds two member dinners during the year in conjunction with the University of Utah Clinical Faculty Day. Dinners are held each Spring and Fall.
