Additional Information: We are looking for someone with a positive, courteous and professional manner when interacting with patients and co-workers. Must have experience in a medical office and be motivated to learn and contribute to the needs of a growing practice.

Experience in electronic medical records, medical history taking and medication reconciliation is preferred, as well as proficiency with computers and typing. Knowledge of eye anatomy, diseases, symptoms, and ocular medications as well as ophthalmic workup skills are optional but will be taken into consideration. Will perform other tasks that facilitate patient flow and will be cross-trained in receptionist/office administration duties.

COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) or COT (Certified Ophthalmic Technician) preferred but not required. Minimum education: high school graduate. Background check will be performed.

Schedule will vary, but the position will be a minimum of two days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays) with a potential for 30 hours per week depending on the applicant.
